To help patients, healthcare professionals and community collaborators explore and implement ways to improve sustainable movement in all aspects of living. My interest lies in not only identifying the best practice of exercise and movement science, but in developing cost effective ways of delivering this content to all people, in the community and skilled healthcare settings.
My Passion
Since 1979, I have devoted my career to helping people restore movement in their lives. From my early days as a physical therapist in a rehabilitation hospital in Boise, Idaho to my present work with older adults in Cambridge, MA, my career energies have been directed at getting people back on a healthier path of increased activity in their everyday lives. Too often, the devastating effects of chronic illness, injuries and sedentary lifestyles are robbing us of an independent life of motion and meaning.
